CEG

Client: CEG

Sector: Services Offices

Scope: General Cleaning, Window Cleaning, Pest Control, Hygiene Services, Washroom

The Challenge

Previously, facilities services were undertaken by numerous separate companies with different contracts in multiple service lines across CEG’s sites throughout the North of England.

The objective through a comprehensive & competitive tender process was to improve communication between CEG and its direct suppliers, as well as:

•     To ensure consistency and excellence in service delivery
•     Radically reduce supplier numbers
•     To manage and reduce costs to clients and tenants
•     To improve two-way communication and add value to

       current service provision
•     To reduce management costs
•     To reduce transaction costs
•     To achieve the highest standards of Health & Safety                     compliance

As a result of the process, Axis was successful in being awarded the Northern portfolio. This includes over 15 locations across the North of England. This contract was fully mobilised over the course of a 4-week lead in period and thereafter closely managed to ensure a seamless transition for all CEG stakeholders.

The Solution

Axis Cleaning and Support Services was chosen due to being able to demonstrate superior levels of customer service through years of industry experience together with a  high level of commitment to its people and their ongoing development.
As a result, it now delivers a highly tailored approach to service provision across all office locations, including periodic cleaning of carpets, windows, high level spaces washroom services, pest control and maintaining consumables supplies.

In bringing multiple contracts under one umbrella with Axis, CEG has realised considerable efficiencies across all their serviced office locations:

Reducing our suppliers from over 30 to less than 4 regionally focused companies has been hugely beneficial to the company so far. The contract has been running successfully since implementation in April 2019 and CEG is delighted with the quality of service Axis is providing. We have a robust KPI system in place to measure and monitor progress on a monthly basis. Axis continues to excel with its flexible & communicative approach to delivering a bespoke service package, working well at a local level to deliver high levels of satisfaction.”
